In July of 2018, upon the retirement of Fr. Robert Cole, Fr. Trask was appointed pastor at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Oberlin; this assignment is in addition to his pastorate at St. Patrick Parish.

The Parents of Priests organization of the Diocese of Cleveland was formed in the 1970’s as a means of supporting priest-sons, and those studying in the diocesan seminary.

► Lorain Correctional Institution
In the Fall of 2021, Fr. Trask was appointed as Catholic Contract Chaplain at the Lorain Correctional Institution in Grafton, OH. He is there most every Wednesday afternoon offering Spiritual Direction, the Sacrament of Confession, and Mass for the inmates.
